CCL Group meets with Rep. Scott Tipton

February 15, 2016 Aspen Daily News reports a meeting is set up in Grand Junction, CO, between local Citizens’ Climate Lobby volunteers, local businesspeople, and Republican U.S. House Representative Scott Tipton.

“The Citizens’ Climate Lobby has been supporting a national fee-and-dividend program as a bipartisan solution to help curb carbon emissions and its proponents are looking to Republicans to lead on the issue.

Ruthie Brown, co-leader of Aspen’s CCL chapter, said that the discussion will take place in Grand Junction on March 7 and focus on fee and dividend’s benefits to the economy, energy security, and public health.”
