Too hot for the bees

Our friend Alex Amonette  writes in a post on citizensclimatelobby.org about a new report from the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services which describes the threat of floods, drought, smoke from wildfires, and high temperatures on the survival of bees.

Turns out, it’s more than pesticides threatening the honeybees and the bumblebees. (Do you know the difference between the two?)

It’s time to get busy lowering those greenhouse gases, for the future of the bees, and ourselves.
