Climate Advocacy and Psychology Meet

Feel frustrated trying to get people to see climate change the way we do?                Psychology and climate change advocacy have met and have a lot to say about this.

The topic is “engagement”.  Climate change “is scary stuff.”  Ignoring the emotional aspect of engagement leads to ineffective communication.

Here’s a report on Dr. Renee Lertzman’s presentation entitled “Understanding emotions about climate change” to CCL volunteers at their April monthly international phone call, published April 11 in the CCL blog.  See if it doesn’t help.
